DESIGN ZONE: BEHIND THE SCENES  

Everything we create incorporates elements of design, and most of what we experience as we move through the world is influenced by those same elements. Visual or sonic, real or virtual, our experiences are a constant interface with key algebraic concepts like proportional and inverse relationships, graphical representations of slope, arithmetical functions, and independent and dependent variables. 

Design Zone: Behind the Scenes is a brand-new exhibit created by OMSI that makes math fun by directly connecting mathematical concepts to real-life experiences like hip-hop, art, skate parks, and more.
